Over 1,200 pumpkins will be displayed at Botanica’s annual Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Spooky season is almost upon us, and Botanica is getting ready for it.

Botanica Gardens’ Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is set to take place Oct. 9-12 from 5:30-10 p.m.

According to Botanica, volunteer groups in the community will carve over 1,200 pumpkins, which will be lit up for everyone to see.

At the event, guests can also find pumpkin sculptures, aerial acrobatics, fire dancing, music from DJ Carbon, a carousel, spooky movies, cocktails, and local food trucks.

“We’re very excited to welcome back Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular,” said Dr. Lynette Zimmerman, Executive Director. “It has activities and entertainment that range from spooky to fun, making this a family-friendly event perfect for all ages.”

Tickets range from $10-15 and can be purchased on Botanica’s website . Children under the age of 2 get in for free.
