Rashee Rice gets Travis Kelce shirts for Chiefs wide receivers to wear

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (WDAF) — There has been plenty of conversation around 35-year-old Travis Kelce’s slow start statistically in the first three games of the season.

And while the numbers haven’t been there for Kelce, the team has constantly reiterated that his production will pick up as the season continues. And despite the drop in production, his presence on the field has created opportunities for other receivers.

The franchise cornerstone received support from his teammates before the Kansas City Chiefs matchup with the LA Chargers.

The Chiefs receivers wore Travis Kelce t-shirts during pregame warm-ups. It was orchestrated by Rashee Rice, who got the t-shirts, according to reports.

Rice got the Kelce graphic t-shirts to honor Kelce and pay homage to the veteran tight end for his mentorship.

Rice has had an excellent start to the season, leading the team in yards, receptions and receiving touchdowns.

So far, Kelce has eight receptions for 69 yards.
