One killed, two others injured in Sedgwick County crash

SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — Sedgwick County EMS was on the scene of a crash in southern Sedgwick County that killed one and injured two other people.

Sedgwick County Dispatch tells KSN News that they received a call of a motor vehicle crash at 95th Street South and South Broadway Avenue at about 8 p.m.

When the Sedgwick County Fire Department arrived, they found three people injured: one person received potentially critical injuries, one person received potentially minor injuries, and one person was found in extremely critical condition but was later pronounced dead.

According to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, a silver Kia was driving southbound on Broadway when it crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and struck a brown Chevy Silverado head-on.

The driver of the Kia did not survive.

The SCSO said that all involved were below the age of 30.

No other details have been released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
