Teen daughter of Flaming Lips member found safe: police

( NewsNation ) — The 16-year-old daughter of Flaming Lips member Steven Drozd has been found safe, according to police.

Charlotte “Bowie” Drozd was reported missing in Seattle on Saturday, the city’s police department confirmed on the social media platform X .

On Monday, The Flaming Lips shared on Instagram that they needed help finding the band member’s daughter.

“URGENT!!! Please help if you can !!! Steven’s daughter ( she is 16 years old ) is missing !!! She was last seen at the Space Needle early on Saturday,” the post read.

Seattle police confirmed on Tuesday morning that teen was found.

“Thanks for everyone’s help getting her back to her family,” the department wrote on X .

The Flaming Lips also posted an update about Charlotte on Instagram, saying: “She’s found and is safe. Her mother has spoke with her… THANK YOU everyone for all your posts and all your networking and all your support and all your skills and all your trust and all your LOVE.”
