Multiple injured, including teen following shooting in Westport

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) — Kansas City police are investigating after multiple people were injured in a shooting Wednesday night in Westport.

KCPD police officers responded to the shooting just after 8 p.m. at a business in the area of Broadway Boulevard and Westport Road, according to KCPD dispatch.

KCPD tells WDAF-TV there were five victims in the shooting. Three were reported to have critical injuries, and two others had serious injuries.

Four of the victims are adult men, and one is a teenage boy.

No suspects are in custody at this time, but police are investigating.
