WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Jordan Bani-Younes from the Kansas Humane Society introduced Banshee during Thursday’s Pet Project segment. Banshee is 2 years old and fully grown at 54 pounds. She is soft and loves to cuddle. She also loves belly rubs and is well-behaved. To view all adoptable pets, click here.

Bani-Younes also talked about two upcoming events at the Kansas Humane Society.

Furry Film Friday happens on Oct. 18 from 6-8:30 p.m. If you have kids in first through fifth grades who love animals, it will be a fun night. The movie planned is “Encanto,” and there will be pizza and popcorn. Some dogs and cats will be brought out during the movie for the kids to snuggle with. There are only 25 spots, so register by clicking here.

Next Tuesday, Oct. 22, KHS’s sweetest fundraiser will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at Andy’s Frozen Custard in College Hill. The ice cream shop will donate $1 from each treat purchased to pets. Pups are welcome on their patio, and there will be free pup cones.
