Storm Track 3 Forecast: Staying pleasant for Sunday, rain coming Monday

A cool start to the day in Wichita, then we turn mild again with another excellent outdoor day coming up for the Sunflower State!
Partly cloudy skies, light winds, and highs in the 70s for most will keep our Sunday picture perfect for most.
Far western Kansas may see a few showers early today, but rain is expected to be in a lull by the afternoon.
The upper level storm system that has been hovering to our west over the last few days will start to move east tonight, and as it does, rain chances start to go up!
Showers and storms will be moving in from the west by midnight.
Scattered storms favor western Kansas overnight, with heavy downpours possible.
By Monday morning, the rain will be knocking on the door in Wichita. Overnight lows will be cool in the 40s and 50s.
Temperatures run a few degrees cooler tomorrow thanks to the clouds, but most will make it back into the 70s.
Showers and storms continue off and on through the afternoon.
A few storms may try to pulse up and become severe, but chances of this are low and they will not be particularly intense.
Rain clears the area by late Monday. Overall, totals from this rain event don’t look amazing, but we will take any moisture we can get.
After the rain clears, dry and mild weather is expected. A bit of a jump in temperature on Tuesday before a dry front sweeps through Wednesday.
Temperatures will trend well above average and stay that way. At least this time of the year, above average usually means comfortable!
