Fort Hays State football opener postponed to today

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Persistent lightning from thunderstorms on Thursday in Hays ultimately caused the postponement of the 2024 FHSU Football season opener at Lewis Field Stadium.

The game between Fort Hays State and Angelo State will now be played at 1:30 p.m. today at Lewis Field Stadium.

Admission will be free to the public, though ticket holders still have rights to the seats they purchased.
