    Severe thunderstorm warning issued in NE Kansas

    Update 10:11 p.m. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Douglas, Jackson, Jefferson, Osage Shawnee and Wabaunsee Counties until 11 p.m.

    Update 9:53 p.m. The National Weather Service continued a severe thunderstorm warning for Jackson, Jefferson, Osage, Pottawatomie, Shawnee and Wabaunsee Counties until 10:15 p.m.

    Update 9:43 p.m. The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Osage, Shawnee and Wabaunsee Counties until 10:15 p.m.

    Update 9:33 p.m. The National Weather Service issued a Flood Advisory for Marshall, Nemaha and Pottawatomie Counties.

    Update 9:32 p.m. The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Jefferson and Shawnee Counties.

    Update 9:02 p.m. The National Weather Service canceled the tornado warning for Jackson and Pottawatomie Counties.

    Update 8:45 p.m. The National Weather Service extended the tornado warning for Jackson and Pottawatomie Counties until 9:15 p.m.

    Update 9:40 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Morris County until 9 p.m.

    Update 8:10 p.m. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Riley, Pottawatomie and Marshall Counties. The warning is in effect until 8:45 p.m. A tornado warning has been issued for Jackson, Nemaha and Pottawatomie Counties until 8:45 p.m.

    Update 7:59 p.m.: The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Clay County until 8:15 p.m.

    Update 7:44 p.m. The tornado warning for Marshall and Pottawatomie Counties has extended, and Nemaha County is now included in the tornado warning. This warning is in effect until 8:15 p.m.

    Update 7:12 p.m.: A tornado warning has been issued for Marshall and Pottawatomie Counties. The warning is in effect until 7:45 p.m.

    Update 6:59 p.m.: The tornado warning for Marshall County will expire at 7 p.m. A Severe thunderstorm warning is still in effect for Marshall and Washington Counties.

    Update 6:43 p.m. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Marshall, Riley and Washington Counties. With this storm comes 60 mile per hour wind and half dollar-sided hail. This warning is issued until 7 p.m.

    Update 6:24 p.m.: A tornado warning has been issued for Washington and Marshall Counties. This storm is capable of producing a tornado, ping pong ball size hail and 60 mile per hour wind gusts. The warning is in effect until 7 p.m.

    TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – The National Weather Service ( NWS ) issued a tornado warning for a northeast Kansas County.

    The NWS issued a tornado warning for Washington County. This warning will be in effect until 6:45 p.m. This storm is capable of producing a tornado near Linn, as well as ping pong ball size hail.
