TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – Family Service and Guidance Center ( FSGC ) held their 18th annual ‘Works of Heart’ fundraiser for kids’ mental health resources.

The FSGC Director of Marketing and Development, Pam Evans, said this year’s event had their biggest online auction yet and included pieces donated by artists all over the area.

The event also featured a live auction with art made by FSGC kids and teens. Evans said the night is all about celebrating the young artists and raising money for a good cause.

“The best part,” Evans said, “is seeing the kids and the teens who we are celebrating, the featured artists, get up on stage and just the amount of pride that they have in their artwork, and just being celebrated for who they are.”

All the proceeds from the fundraiser go toward helping children, teens, and families get mental health care.
