New Topeka Chick-fil-A nears opening, looks to hire 80 workers

TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – A new Chick-fil-A location in south Topeka is looking to hire 80 people ahead of its expected opening this fall.

A Chick-fil-A spokesperson issued a press release Tuesday, Aug. 20 on the new location at 3231 SW Topeka Boulevard. This restaurant will be run by Owner-Operator Justin Lamison who is looking to fill 80 positions ahead of the Chick-fil-A’s opening.

“I have had the pleasure of working in a variety of fields before becoming an Operator, and one of my biggest takeaways has been that any job can be a great job—or even a fulfilling career—if you approach it with passion, dedication and a willingness to learn,” Lamison said. “As an Operator, I encourage my Team Members to embrace every opportunity with intentionality and care, and to remember that meaningful work can come in countless ways.”

Interested applicants can click here to apply for positions at the new restaurant. This will be the second Chick-fil-A to open in the Capital City with the first being located at 1625 SW Wanamaker Road. More information on when the restaurant will open, its hours of operation and other details will be released in the near future.
