    ‘America’s Got Talent’ star to headline comedy show in Kansas

    MAYETTA ( KSNT ) – Comedian Preacher Lawson will entertain people in northeast Kansas with a live performance next month in Mayetta at a local casino.

    Prairie Band Casino & Resort lists an upcoming show on its website for Lawson at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 in the Great Lakes Ballroom. Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased online.

    Lawson, a native of Portland, Oregon, has previously appeared on “America’s Got Talent” in 2017 where he made it to the final round of the competition. He later appeared in “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” and “Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions” in 2019.

    The comedian claims a large following on the social media platform TikTok, more than 3.2 million subscribers, and 600,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. He is known for sharing his stand-up comedy bits, MMA training and cooking tips.
