    Police look for tips after young woman injured in Manhattan bar district

    MANHATTAN ( KSNT ) – Police in the Little Apple are launching an investigation after a young woman was injured last Friday in the Aggieville area.

    The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) announced in a press release on Tuesday, Sept. 3 that it is investigating after a young woman was injured while walking home from a local business in the early morning hours on Friday, Aug. 30 in the 800 block of Laramie Street. The woman was taken to a hospital in Topeka for treatment of her wounds.

    “At this time, we want to clarify that this incident is under investigation and we are working diligently to gather all relevant information. We are currently reviewing surveillance footage from Aggieville and surrounding areas and are following up on any leads to determine the cause of these injuries. We encourage anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information to come forward and assist with the investigation.”
