    Crews working house fire in west Topeka

    TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – The Topeka Fire Department was at the scene of a house fire in west Topeka on Wednesday.

    Firefighters responded to reports of a house fire around 1:15 p.m. on Sept. 4 in the 2000 block of Southwest Fairlawn Road. According to a 27 News reporter on scene, six firetrucks and Topeka Police officers were at the scene.

    City of Topeka spokeswoman Rosie Nichols said no one was hurt in this incident. All occupants of the home self-evacuated before first responders arrived.
