    Washburn University talks fall festivities

    TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – Vice President for Student Life Eric Grospitch and student Taylor Romanchek joined the 27 News Morning Show to talk about the first month of the fall semester and some upcoming events.

    Romanchek talked about upcoming homecoming events slated for the last week of October. She said Washburn will hold a Rising Star Variety Show, Scorch on the Porch, Yell Like Hell, a Halloween movie night and a homecoming parade. Romanchek said the homecoming parade will follow a new route from years prior.

    Grospitch told 27 News that Washburn’s numbers have been looking good. He said the fraternities and sororities have recently been holding recruitment events.
