    Event plans to honor Topeka icon Dr. Jerry Farley’s life

    TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – Blanche Parks, Elaine Schwartz and Shawn Wesner joined the 27 News Morning show to preview this weekend’s event “The Journey of a Life” honoring a Topeka icon Dr. Jerry Farley.

    The event will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20 at the Kay McFarland Japanese Garden at the Topeka Zoo. Attendees will be able to learn about the life and accomplishments of Dr. Farley and watch as he’s presented with the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award.
