RILEY COUNTY ( KSNT ) – Dr. Jacob Clarke joined the 27 News Morning Show to talk about this year’s flu and virus season and the importance of being vaccinated.

Dr. Clarke said receiving vaccines is the single greatest thing people can do to prevent respiratory viruses, whether it be the flu, COVID or respiratory viruses.

“What we’re finding is that people who are getting those vaccines tend to have a lesser infection than what they would have had had they not had the vaccine previously,” Dr. Clarke said.

How prepared is Kansas for a nuclear emergency?

Dr. Clarke said if you think you have a cold, but if you’re not entirely sure, to wear a mask.
