    Early voting opens in Shawnee County

    TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – Shawnee County Election Commissioner Andrew Howell joined the 27 News morning show to discuss early voting ahead of the Nov. 5 election.

    Howell talked about early voting, upcoming deadlines, benefits of early voting, drop boxes for mail-in ballots and keeping ballots secure and safe. Early voting starts on Monday, Oct. 21.

    People in Shawnee County who want to cast a vote early can visit the Shawnee County Election Office from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 3420 Southwest Van Buren Street in Topeka.
