Edward Love Ardis was surrounded by friends when he went to be with his Lord on April 6th. Eddie was born on August 5, 1947 to Lewis and Thelma Ardis. He graduated from Sulphur Springs High School and then attended East Texas State University now Texas A & M at Commerce. He earned his BS degree. He worked for a brief time for Texas Instruments in Richardson, Texas Later he was an equal owner of All World Travel founded in 1971 in Richardson, Texas.
Northeast Texas Children’s Museum to Hold Annual Freda Mae’s Bridge Day Fundraiser April 15th
April 5, 2024 – The Northeast Texas Children’s Museum in Commerce, Texas, will hold their annual “Freda Mae’s Bridge Day” fundraiser Monday, April 15, 2024, beginning at 1:30pm. Wendy Shivers, age 68, of Winnsboro, TX passed away at her home in Winnsboro, TX on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Wendy Lee Shivers was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 16, 1956 to Bob Kranz and Nancy (Schlaprizzi) Hoffman. She married James “Jim” Kevin Shivers in Winnsboro, TX on February 3, 2007. Wendy worked in the medical field for over 20 years. Over the years, she touched many lives and made several life-long friendships doing a job she dearly loved. Wendy was an animal lover to the core. Her animal family included a horse, donkeys, parrots, several reptiles, and dogs. She had a special place in her heart for all her beloved animals.
