Funeral service for Shirley Lou Anderson age 88, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Lantz, Jason Dietze, and Brant Small officiating. Interment will follow at Shooks Chapel Cemetery with Laine Anderson, Dustin Small, Brant Small, Landon Johnson, Troy Nunnery, Sean Dennis, and Chris Anderson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Carriage House Manor. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Anderson passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Carriage House Manor in Sulphur Springs.

However, if the legislature passes school choice, parents would have the ability to send their kids to schools of their choosing – and as we’ve seen in states like Florida, this competition can help improve public school performance. As to the financial impact, that would depend on the specific bill as passed by the Legislature.
