Interment will follow at City Cemetery with Taylor Coleman, Branden Coleman, Billy Capps, Chris Spencer, Floyd Taylor, Thomas Matthews, Ryan Curry and Marlin Peters serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Coleman passed away at his home in Sulphur Springs, TX on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

TikTok Needs A New Owner
April 25, 2024 – The clock has begun ticking for TikTok to find a new owner. TikTok is a short-form video hosting service owned by Chinese internet company ByteDance. President Joe Biden signed legislation Wednesday that would ban TikTok in the United States unless its Chinese parent, ByteDance, sells the app. The bill was signed into law by President Joe Biden on April 24, 2024, giving ByteDance until January 19, 2025 to divest TikTok. TikTok plans to challenge the law in court, but if it fails, the company would have to find a buyer, and fast.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Smith passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

April 23, 2024 – Fight for Zachariah is a local effort to raise funds for an alternative cancer treatment for 19 year-old Zachariah Walker. Walker is fighting a rare and aggressive cancer. He was originally diagnosed at the age of 17. His family is seeking funds to provide an alternative cancer treatment. That treatment is not covered by insurance. His family will need to provide the entire $54,000.
