SHREVEPORT, La. ( KTAL/KMSS ) — The University of Arkansas is excited welcome former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson to their faculty list for Spring 2025 semester.

The school created the position of “Executive in Residence” for Hutchinson. The former Governor will participating in the law school in a variety of ways including teaching a course on leadership, as well as hosting and judging competitions.

“I fully expect that when his course is offered, it will be oversubscribed,” said Brill. “There will be more students signed up for the course than can get in the classroom.”

Brill will be teaching a class on the Arkansas constitution and shared his personal excitement about his old friend joining the team.

“I personally am looking forward to having him come as a guest speaker in my class,” said Brill.
