Well-known public servant becomes SWEPCO’s External Affairs Manager for Arkansas

ATLANTA, Texas ( KTAL/KMSS ) – SWEPCO announces its new External Affairs manager for Arkansas. She’s a local, well-known face.

Lisa Porterfield Thompson has been named to the position that serves southwest Arkansas and northeast Texas. Thompson will work with local communities along with emergency coordination efforts.

Porterfield Thompson worked for the City of Texarkana, Texas, as its Economic Development and Communications Manager and the city’s Public Information Officer. She also worked as the President of the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce and the Public Relations Director for Texarkana College.

She lives in Atlanta, Texas, with her husband and three children.
