Our schools were #1 in the country. They have steadily declined, drop in teacher's pay, drop in svcs, bigger classes. Professionals leaving our state in droves. DON'T BLAME THE DEMS. We haven't been in control for a long time. Repubs have RAPED IOWA in more ways than one. I have lived here under both party's administrations...some good and some not-so-much. 76-year-old. HOWEVER, Kim Reynolds is the ONLY governor I've experienced who clearly HAS NOT made ANY EFFORT to engage the other party's ideas, input...nothing. She's just ramrodded ONLY her party's and MOSTLY HER IDEAS with little input from those who might have a different perspective. WE NEED A CHANGE.
