Raisin chaos: Big rig truck crashes near L.A., spills snacks across freeway in wild video

A wild crash on the 2 Freeway in Glendale on Wednesday evening thankfully didn’t injure anyone, but fans of a certain dried-out fruit might want to shield their eyes.

In a wild dashcam video posted to TikTok and later submitted to KTLA by viewer Holly Bae, a big rig appears to lose control before crashing into the center divider on the 2 Freeway in Glendale. The truck’s trailer then clips a pole, cutting into the trailer and spilling much of its cargo.

That cargo? Hundreds, if not thousands of boxes of raisins.

The raisins covered parts of the leftmost two lanes on the 2 near Mountain Street. The lanes were closed for hours while crews worked to clean up the mess.

No injuries were reported.
