Suspicious vehicle left next to pumps at San Gabriel Valley gas station

Police and firefighters are investigating a suspicious vehicle parked next to the gas pumps at an ARCO station Wednesday.

The Irwindale Police Department described the incident on X , formerly Twitter, as a hazmat situation at the ARCO station located on the 15800 block of Arrow Highway.

“The convenience store and gas station is currently closed until further notice,” the Police Department stated shortly before 11:30 a.m.

Sky5 was over the scene where police tape surrounded a white van left near the pumps.

Police confirmed that they are investigating a suspicious vehicle in connection with the incident.

The passenger doors of the van were left open but its relation to the hazmat situation was unclear.
