Southern California hospital seeks help identifying 2 patients

A local hospital needs help to identify two patients who were found injured in Los Angeles County.

The patients are described as a man around 55 years old and a woman who is believed to be 58, according to the Los Angeles General Medical Center.

The patients were found injured and have been hospitalized for some time, including one who’s been in the hospital all year. Hospital staff are hoping to locate their family members.

The first patient is a man around 55 years old. He is described as possibly Asian, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds. He has dark brown hair, brown eyes and a medium build.

He has been hospitalized for nearly nine months since being admitted on Dec. 17, 2023. He was found lying on the ground in Los Angeles, staff said.

The second patient, the 58-year-old woman, is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds. She has “salt and pepper” hair, brown eyes and an average build.

Officials said the woman is originally from Shreveport, Louisiana. She was found injured on the ground near 6th and Hill Streets in L.A.’s Skid Row area.

She has been hospitalized since Aug. 27.

Neither patient has any personal belongings to help staff identify them or contact loved ones.
