    Police investigating after man walks into Los Angeles fire station with stab wounds

    Authorities are investigating after a man walked into a fire station in Hollywood with stab wounds early Saturday morning.

    According to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Chaves, a man walked inside the fire station on Hollywood Boulevard with stab wounds just before 7:30 a.m.

    It was not immediately clear if the man transported himself to the station, but first responders quickly took him to a nearby hospital.  His condition is not known.

    A crime broadcast was put out, LAPD said, and officers were seen canvassing the area for clues.

    The suspect was described as a man around the age of 30 who stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds.
