Chuck E. Cheese giving away 1,000 birthday parties on world’s ‘most popular’ birthday

Sept. 9 is said to be the world’s most common birthday , and to celebrate, Chuck E. Cheese is giving away 1,000 free birthday parties to families across the world.

Between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday, individuals can visit their local Chuck E. Cheese to enter the “ Big Day of Birthdays ” sweepstakes. Two families at each location will win the following:

• Two hours of unlimited gameplay and soft drinks

• 1,000 bonus e-tickets for the Birthday Star and 100 bonus e-tickets for each other child

• A turn in the Birthday Ticket Blaster

The giveaway coincides with the entertainment restaurant chain’s launching of the $99.99 FUN package , which includes much of what the two winning families at each Chuck E. Cheese will get: two hours of unlimited gameplay and unlimited soft drinks for six children, as well as the Chuck E. Cheese Birthday Show, upgraded prizes and more.

Guests must be present when their name is called to win the sweepstakes, restaurant officials said.
