Deputies are asking for the public’s help locating two suspects wanted for the attempted murder of an unhoused man in Loma Linda.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said the stabbing took place on Wednesday, Sept. 11 near the intersection of California Street and Redlands Boulevard.

Deputies responded to the call and found 39-year-old John Flores bleeding heavily in the wash area near the intersection.

First responders took Flores to a local medical center to treat his multiple stab and slash wounds.

The sheriff’s department said the area he was found is known to be frequented by homeless individuals who “engage in unlawful drug activities.”

Detectives believe the assault took place over the sale and/or use of fentanyl.

“Witnesses described one of the two adult suspects as a Hispanic male who possibly goes by the moniker of ‘Lil G,’ and the second suspect was a white male,” deputies said.

Witnesses also described the suspect’s vehicle as a dark blue, four-door sedan with tinted windows.

The sheriff’s department asks anyone with information related to this investigation to contact Detective K. Garabedian of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Central Station at 909-387-3545.
