When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman inside her vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

She was later identified as 45-year-old Adrienne Johnson of Riverside.

Investigations revealed that Johnson was getting into her car after work when her brother, 51-year-old David Johnson, pulled up behind her in his vehicle. Police said he then got out of his vehicle and walked up to her, shooting her multiple times.

Johnson fled the scene before officers arrived.

He was later located on Friday in Riverside. He was arrested on suspicion of murder.

No motive was revealed. Johnson is being held at Robert Presley Detention Center without bail.
