Thieves got away with an ATM after tearing through the security doors of a liquor store in the San Fernando Valley early Wednesday morning.

The incident was reported around 2 a.m. at Village Market & Liquor located near Eldridge Avenue and Sayre Street in Sylmar.

Officers arrived to find one of the doors had been pulled back from the wall, with bricks and debris scattered in front of the store.

An ATM had been removed. There was no immediate word on whether anything else was stolen from the store or how much money was taken.

The incident comes just 24 hours after another ATM was reportedly stolen from a liquor store about three miles away.
