These Disney fans will be among the first to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Disneyland Magic Key holders will be among the first to journey down the bayou when Disneyland’s newest attraction opens in November.

Disneyland hasn’t announced specific dates for the ride previews, but according to the Orange County Register , Magic Key holders should check Disneyland’s social media channels for updates.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is expected to open on Nov. 15. Disneyland cast member previews will begin Oct. 22 and run through Nov. 12, according to MiceChat.

In 2020, Disney announced that Splash Mountain would be re-themed to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disney World and Disneyland after fans called for Disney to re-theme the beloved attraction amid a racial reckoning nationwide.

The attraction drew criticism in its last years of operation since it featured characters and music from the 1946 animated feature “Song of the South,” a movie criticized for its stereotypes of Black people and its romanticized view of the post-Civil War South.

Despite its problematic history, the attraction was still a favorite among Disney fans in California and Florida due to its catchy tunes, breathtaking theme park views and unique structure.

Walt Disney World’s version of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened in June.
