Deputies arrested three suspects in Thousand Oaks on Oct. 4, alleging the crew was responsible for numerous burglaries in the area throughout the year.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested the crew during a burglary in progress at 3:09 p.m. in the 800 block of Bellina Court in Thousand Oaks.

Prior to this call for service, the sheriff’s office said there were two other residential burglaries reported earlier that afternoon in the same general neighborhood.

Deputies set up a large perimeter and took three suspects into custody: 29-year-old Luis Corredor-Fernandez, 21-year-old Diego Gama-Fernandez and 26-year-old Sebastian Moreno – all of Los Angeles.

Through the investigation, the sheriff’s office said detectives found the three suspects also responsible for an attempted residential burglary and the additional residential burglary reported earlier that day.

In addition, the crew is also believed to be responsible for residential burglaries committed in the city of Thousand Oaks earlier this year, according to the sheriff’s office.

“Once the suspects were taken into custody, detectives with the Commercial Residential Burglary Unit contacted detectives from the Simi Valley Police Department, Ventura Police Department and Oxnard Police Department and learned that all these allied agencies had active burglary investigations involving this same burglary crew,” wrote the sheriff’s office.

Officers booked Corredor-Fernandez into the Ventura County Jail for burglary, possession of a controlled substance and criminal conspiracy.

Gama-Fernandez and Moreno were both booked into the Ventura County Jail for burglary and criminal conspiracy.

The three suspects remain in custody in lieu of $50,000 bail each.
