It’s October, and that means we are creeping closer and closer to New Year’s Day and the 2025 Rose Parade.
Presented by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and airing on KTLA on Jan. 1, the parade’s theme for its next iteration will be “Best Day Ever!”
With just a few months to go before the big day, the Tournament of Roses is showing off concepts for some of the floats you’ll see on the big day. Here’s a sneak peek at a few of them.
Pasadena Humane / Hill’s Pet Nutrition
This float, designed by Artistic Entertainment Services, celebrates pets’ “best days ever,” which are their adoption days. Follow some furry friends through their journey to their forever home with “vibrant beautifully designed floral depictions of adopted dogs and cats, representing real pets from Pasadena Humane, riding alongside passionate staff and volunteers.”
Rotary
Rotary’s farmhouse-themed float shows a group of barnyard friends on its way to a fun time at the beach. This festive float boasts a wide array of colors and celebrates the Rotary’s community spirit.
San Diego Zoo
Celebrating Friendships Across the Earth, the San Diego Zoo’s contribution for the 2025 Rose Parade includes a centerpiece with a pair of giant pandas. Fitting with the theme, the Tournament of Roses says, this float celebrates the best day of the year for millions, when they visit the San Diego Zoo.
The UPS Store, Inc.
When designing a Rose Parade float, you just can’t go wrong with dinosaurs. The UPS Store’s float symbolizes how it makes “dreams take flight every day.”
