    Man found stabbed to death underneath 405 Freeway in Long Beach

    Police are investigating after a man was found dead underneath the 405 Freeway in Long Beach Thursday.

    Officers responded to reports of an unresponsive person on the road in the 3300 block of Long Beach Boulevard at around 12:35 a.m.

    Beneath an underpass, authorities found a male victim with multiple stab wounds.

    Paramedics attempted life-saving measures on the man before he was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

    No suspect was found at the scene and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain unclear.

    The victim’s identity is being withheld pending the next of kin notification. The case remains under investigation by homicide detectives.
