Police are searching for suspects after a safe containing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of valuables was stolen from a Los Angeles home overnight.

Just before midnight Friday, officers with the L.A. Police Department responded to a reported burglary on the 22500 block of Dolorosa Street in Woodland Hills.

A safe was stolen from the home, police said. Inside the stolen safe was $300,000 worth of items, including jewelry, according to stringer service Key News Network.

There was no information released regarding any potential suspects. Authorities were investigating the burglary as of Saturday.

According to LAPD, no one was home at the time of the burglary but the homeowners observed it from a surveillance video.
