The Los Angeles Dodgers are knocking at the door of the World Series, and one of Los Angeles’ most iconic landmarks will be decked out in blue to reflect the city’s support.

Sunday night, as the Dodgers take on the New York Mets in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series, the Ferris wheel atop Santa Monica Pier will light up in a “vibrant display of blue and white.”

The Ferris wheel, located in the Pacific Park amusement park, will light up with more than 170,000 LED lights, showcasing the Dodgers iconic L.A. insignia and a scrolling message that reads “Go Dodgers!”

The solar-powered Ferris wheel is regularly used to communicate messages of support or praise for other L.A. institutions.

In July, the wheel went patriotic for the Fourth of July and the Paris Olympics . In May, the Ferris wheel honored KTLA’s own Sam Rubin .

Dodgers faithful will hope that the energy provided by the world famous Ferris wheel will help propel the team to its first World Series appearance since 2020, and its fourth overall since 2000.

Opening pitch is slated for 5:08 p.m. at Dodger Stadium, and the game will be broadcast on FS1.

Pacific Park provides a high-definition live stream of the Ferris wheel, which can be found here .
