Texas Tech celebrates new cohort of nursing students

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — Texas Tech Health El Paso cloaked students entering the nursing program on Tuesday, May 21.

The White Coat Ceremony for the Hunt School of Nursing Summer Cohort was on Tuesday at the Medical Sciences Building II auditorium.

According to the news release from Texas Tech, the summer cohort is made up of 12 students and they are a part of the accelerated B.S.N program, one of its kind in the region.

The ceremony marks the students’ entry into the profession and the 12 students will also be given the Hunt School of Nursing seal, according to Texas Tech.
