YOU’RE INVITED: TxDOT Texas Rail Plan hosting virtual public meeting August 19

HOUSTON (KIAH) – Remember when we used to talk about the high speed rail from Houston to Dallas? It was going to happen. Then it wasn’t and still hasn’t, but it still might? – Well that discussion is ongoing but now, you get a chance to join and participate in a discussion about the future of rail in Texas.

TxDOT is updating the Texas Rail Plan , and they need your input. This specific update happens every four years. This month on the 19th, is your chance to have a say in how things could progress for the Texas Rail Plan.

YOU’RE INVITED! A virtual public meeting will be held on August 19, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. (CST). The meeting will include a presentation and a Q&A session. This is a real and rare opportunity to share your very own ideas about future passenger and freight rail projects.
