    77-year-old woman from Lincoln County is missing

    EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — A 77-year-old Lincoln County, New Mexico, woman is missing, the New Mexico State Police said.

    Cheryl Volosin, of Alto, New Mexico, was last seen at around 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8 near the 1100 block of Shoshone in Alto, according to State Police. Alto is about 5 miles north of Ruidoso.

    She is described as 5 feet in height, weighs 120 pounds and has gray hair or a blond wig.

    She may be driving to Payson, Arizona. Her vehicle is a 2011 black Jeep Liberty with NM license plate HGP260.

    Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at (575) 648-2341.

    I went to Alamogordo PD to report a missing person and was told they couldn't help me and told me to call El Paso PD. El Paso PD said Alamogordo PD needed to submit a missing person report through an electronic system. Alamogordo PD said they didn't do that.

    project lifesaver is in Doña Ana County. can't say the same for Lincoln County. It was offered years ago but turned down.
