El Paso’s Aaron Jones scores touchdown in Vikings debut

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso’s Aaron Jones scored a rushing touchdown in the Minnesota Vikings’ 28-6 win over the New York Giants at Metlife Stadium on Sunday.

In his first game as a member of the Vikings, Jones scored the team’s first touchdown of the 2024 season. A three-yard touchdown run by Jones gave Vikings a 7-3 lead over the Giants with 3:50 left in the first quarter.

At the end of the day, Jones recorded 94 rushing yards on 14 carries and had the rushing touchdown.

Jones and the Vikings picked up a 28-6 win over the Giants and start the season off 1-0.

Up next, the Vikings will take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. MT.
