    Heat, sunshine, hint of fall -Your Exclusive 9-Day Forecast

    El Paso, Texas ( KTSM ) — The warming trend continues through the weekend, with plenty of sunshine. Expect those 90s to stick around for awhile.

    Friday night, we’ll cool off to 74 degrees under clear skies and light winds from the west ranging between 5 to 10 mph.

    Saturday, partly cloudy skies are in the forecast, and temperatures will climb to a warm 97 degrees. Winds will remain light at 5 to 10 mph, with cloud cover lingering throughout the day.

    Sunday brings another partly cloudy day, with a high of 96 degrees. The evening will cool down to a comfortable 72 degrees.

    Looking ahead to the workweek, Monday starts off sunny and dry with a high forecasted to reach 94 degrees. However, we are tracking a 20% chance of storms Monday night, possibly before midnight with lows dipping to 71 degrees.

    On Tuesday, there is a 15% chance of isolated storms early in the morning, between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., with a cooler high of 91 degrees later that day. We’ll drop down to 66 degrees by the evening.

    Wednesday, the sunshine returns, and we’re not expecting any significant weather changes. Now, as for Thursday and Friday, it’s looking windy, with gusts reaching up to 30 mph. Staying indoors may be a good idea.

    As we wrap up the week, we’re looking at sunny skies and warm days ahead.

    Just a reminder, Sunday, Sept. 22 we welcome the first day of fall. The day will consist of a high forecasted to reach 89 degrees paired with sunny skies.
