Ah, the passage of time. My oldest son Mason was born on this day in El Paso 25 years ago! He’s getting married this December, and he’s in medical school at Texas Tech Paul Foster. I thank God for my beautiful son, and I thank El Paso… the best city in the world to raise kids.

TONIGHT:   The skies will be partly cloudy early in the evening but turn clear overnight.  The west-SW winds will gust to near 35 mph on the eastern slopes of the mountains.  Slowly, the winds will diminish down to a light breeze.  The low will be 68.

FORECAST: Wednesday will be sunny and dry with a high of 95.  The SW winds will be lighter at 5-20 mph.  Thursday will be sunny and hot with a high of 97.  The SW winds will range from 5-20 mph.  Friday will be partly to (at times) mostly cloudy and windy.  The west winds will pick up and gust to near 35 mph, stronger on the east slopes.  Friday’s high: 94.  Saturday will be sunny with lighter winds and a high of 88.  Sunday will be mostly sunny with gusty winds on the west slopes.  A mild cool front will drop the high to 84.  Monday will be partly cloudy and 91.  Tuesday will be mostly sunny and 94.
