    4 students injured after crash in South Central El Paso

    EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — Four Jefferson High School students were injured Wednesday morning, Sept. 18, after a crash in South Central El Paso, according to the El Paso Independent School District.

    The crash happened at around 10:30 a.m. near Val Verde Street and E Paisano Drive.

    The school district sent KTSM the following statement regarding the crash.

    “We are working closely with local law enforcement authorities, who are conducting a thorough investigation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the students and families during this incredibly difficult time and request that their privacy be respected.”

    A spokesperson with the El Paso Fire Department also confirmed that three people suffered minor injuries and one person suffered serious injuries
