El Paso, Texas ( KTSM ) — This weekend’s weather is shaping up to be nearly perfect, with sunny skies and warm temperatures. Highs will stick around the 90s for most of the week, but we do have a refreshing cool front on the way.

On Saturday, we’re expecting a high of 96 degrees under clear skies, with light winds from the east at 5 to 10 mph. It’s going to be a calm, warm day for any outdoor activities.

Sunday is National Coffee Day, and the weather will be a repeat of Saturday’s. Once again, we’ll enjoy sunny skies and highs in the 90s, with light winds up to 10 mph. By Sunday evening, temperatures will cool off to a comfortable 65 degrees.

As we move into Monday and Tuesday, the pattern of sunny skies continues. Monday’s high is expected to reach 95 degrees, and Tuesday will warm up to 93 degrees. No major weather changes for us in the El Paso area on these days.

A noticeable change arrives Wednesday with a cool front. We’ll see a high of 88 degrees during the day, our first taste of fall-like temperatures. Expect sunny skies during the day and a cooler overnight low, dropping to 62 degrees.

Thursday, we’re back to the 90s. As you’ve noticed, the forecast is consistent, with sunny skies and minimal winds. Thursday night brings a low of 61 degrees, the coolest in our 9-day forecast.

The remainder of the week will be a repeat of dry conditions and clear skies. And just a reminder, monsoon season officially ends this Monday, Sept. 30. Cooler temperatures will soon be settling into the Borderland.
