Pink tea party with Estela Casas happening this weekend

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) – In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Hotel Paso Del Norte will host the “Think Pink” Morning Tea and High Tea event with television news icon Estela Casas as special guest this weekend.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Hotel Paso Del Norte located at 10 Henry Trost Ct., the hotel announced in a news release.
The hotel said the event supports and honors the Stand with Estela Casas Cancer Foundation, which helps find no-cost mammograms and other cancer screenings for El Pasoans who cannot afford them.
During the event, the hotel will donate $2,500 to the foundation, according to the news release.
“Sponsors are invited to purchase tickets to be gifted to breast cancer survivors. All sponsorship funds will go directly to the Estala Casas Foundation and are tax deductible,” read the news release.
El Paso’s beloved anchor, author and breast cancer survivor and advocate Casas will also have copies of her autobiography, “A Place to Anchor,” for sale with 100 percent of those proceeds also going to her cancer foundation to assist patients with wraparound services.
All ages are welcome, and pink smart casual attire and fascinator hats are encouraged, according to the hotel.
