EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — Put your detective hats on and enter for a chance to win in a raffle with the El Paso Downtown Management District’s (DMD) murder mystery event.

“Deceit in Downtown El Paso” is a free, month-long event that began on Friday, Oct. 4 and runs through Friday, Nov. 1 that will be sending players throughout different locations in Downtown El Paso.

“This interactive murder mystery, ‘Deceit in Downtown El Paso,’ is a perfect way for participants to not only engage with our community but also immerse themselves in a thrilling story,” said Lupe Diaz, marketing and communications manager for the El Paso DMD. “We’re excited to see who can piece together the puzzle and solve the crime.”

According to the El Paso DMD, players need to unravel the mysterious death of Evelyn Harrington by visiting different clues and meeting different key characters.

To begin the game, participants need to visit the kiosk on the corner of Main Street and Oregon Street to scan a QR code to launch the game, according to the El Paso DMD.

If you can crack the case, players will be entered into a raffle for prizes including a tote bag and beanie from Lost In El Paso, gift certificates to Blush Spa and Weso Steakhouse and tickets to the Haunted Houses of Terror, provided by KLAQ, according to the El Paso DMD.

The DMD is encouraging players to dress up in 1920s-themed outfits and tag the El Paso DMD on social media @downtownelpaso for two entries into the raffle. Players can also email their photos to LDiaz@elpasodmd.org.

For more information on the event, you can visit the El Paso DMD’s website here .
