Conference USA releases Women’s Basketball Preseason Poll

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Middle Tennessee earned the No. 1 spot collecting 99 points followed by an 11 point differential between the Blue Raiders and the Liberty Flames at No 2. with 88.

New Mexico State sits at sixth place collecting 55 points, one of the Aggies star players Molly Kaiser earning a All-Conference Preseason Team honor the league announced on Thursday as well. Kaiser led NMSU in nearly every statistical category in points (463), points per game (14.9) field goals made (165), field goals attempted (420) free throws made (107), free throws attempted and free-throw percentage (86.3) last year.

UTEP found themselves one spot behind NMSU in 7th with 43 points. Miners are looking to build off of its 12-19 record of last season.
