The Sheriff’s Office says Roman Aranda, 27, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 10, after being wanted for aggravated sexual assault and aggravated kidnapping/sexual abuse.

Aranda was located at his residence and was taken into custody. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with no bond as a result of violating his probation, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

As we have previously reported, Aranda was arrested last Friday, Oct. 4, after allegedly driving while intoxicated and crashing into a Sheriff’s deputy patrol unit and a tow truck on I-10 East near the Eastlake Exit.
